| biological activity | Gossypin is a kind of flavonoids isolated from ISIS vitifolius, which has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, anti-aging, anti-diabetic, analgesic and liver protective activity. Gossypin inhibits NF-κB and NF-κB regulated gene expression. Gossypin also inhibited RANKL-induced osteoclast formation in mouse primary bone marrow cells and RAW264.7 cells. |
